Weekly News Round Up – 27th April 2012

Month of April is coming to a close. Let’s see how the music news is shaping up:

Is it to build up more hype or has Chris Brown done some more no no’s? Looks like Chris’ album won’t be dropping on its original May 8th release. Pushed to July 3rd, Future was suppose to release May 8th then June 26th.

Okay. So Dr. Dre is clearing up the rumours. The Tupac Hologram is NOT touring...at least not yet. “…this was done strictly for Coachella 2012, baby, just for you,” is what Dre said in the below video.

Wouldn’t blame him as it would probably cost money beyond comprehension to put together a full show with the late Pac.

TLC’s don’t want No Scrub but a new album, TV movie series and tour may do. It’s been 10 years since Lisa Left-Eye Lopez left us and to celebrate her life the remaining members (T-Boz and Chilli) are going full swing in the new ventures. Word has it that they are planning on taking some notes from Dr. Dre and going the hologram route. I thought this was a bad idea until they said they would simply project old footage instead of going with a new digital performance. Yes, that’s probably a better bet.

Young Buck from former G Unit is in heavy debt and he’s trying to sell his stuff off to pay it back.

Well…Not if 50 has anything to do about it. Apparently, the legal stuff is stopping Young Buck from doing anything as 50 Cent is claiming ownership of his recordings, compositions and even the Young Buck name!

Ouch. That’s hurting but a good example of manning up and doing stuff yourself to not be in this mess in the first place.

Usher is back with a new single. Here’s a teaser of his Scream single and I am digging it! If Climax and Scream represent his new work then he has my money.
